THAI also has codeshare agreements with airlines that are not a partner of Royal Orchid Plus.

Provided you book with THAI and your ticket number begins with 217, that denotes a paid THAI ticket, miles are earned subject to class of service flown and eligible booking class codes with the following airlines on specific routes.*

Currently *G/V/ W booking classes earn 50% of actrual miles flown. From July 1, 2008 onwards travel in these booking with THAI on international route classes will no longer earn miles.
