Day 1:

Kunming - Lijiang
Meet your guide and then take a connecting flight to Lijiang. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Then go around in Lijiang old town (The old town of Lijiang, a well preserved old city of Ethnic Minorities with Brilliant culture). Located on the plateau which is 2,400 metres above the sea level and embraced by the tree-covered Lion mountain in the west Elephant and Golden row mountain in the north, vast fertile fields in the southeast and crystal clear water running through, the old town looks like a big jade ink slab, therefore got the alias the town of big ink slab. Lijiang was placed on the world cultural heritage list in 1997.
Enjoy the Naxi concert in the evening. Dinner at local chinese restaurant.

Day 2:

Lijiang
Breakfast at hotel. First visit the much famed Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (It is situated some 15 km north of Lijiang country, with thirteen peaks resembling Jade Pillars holding the sky, it stands majestically on the east side of Jinshajiang river. The main peak, mount fan, is 5,596 metres above sea level, and is annually snowcapped. The summit's semblance to a crystalline jade dragon gives the mountain its name). Yak Meadow section has rich vegetation coverang, featuring distinct and complete alpine vertical ecosystem from subtropical zone to frigid zone. Taking chairlift up and down the mountain, Where the Yi and Zang minority ethnic Tribes live.

Day 3:

Lijiang - Zhongdian
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, drive to Shigu (Stone Drum) village, (This ancient town is named after a Drum-Shaped marble plaque. Built during the Jiaqing Era of the ming dynasty, the Stone Durm is a monument commemorating the victory of Lijiang's Naxi ruler over an invading Tibetan army. The stone drum has an obvious vestige of what appears to be a "rip" in it. It is said that the stone drum would rupture prior to any war and then fold when peace returned, overlooking the First Bend of the Yangtze river, a world-famous geological Phenomenon and an extraordinary panoramic scene. Then continue to the Tiger Leaping Gorge (Tiger Leaping gorge (Hutiao gorge), which is believed to be the deepest gorge in the world. From the top of the gorge you look down the steeply angled mountain sides to the rushing Golden Sands (Jingsha) River. You will enter the gorge by bus before taking a path down to the Golden Sands River, name of the upper course of the yangtze river.Arrive in Zhongdian late in the afternoon.

Day 4:

Zhongdian
Breakfast at hotel. Take an excursion of Bita Lake for azalea, primrose and flower that can be possibly found on the plateau. Azaleas blossoming around may dotted up and down the mountains, with many rare wild flowers and animals walking around and meantime the fish in the water aer always found lethargic sleep on the surface of the lake for swallowing some lightly as it drunk by Azaleas. And about 2 hours by trek or horse ride to the lake from the end of the car road. Proceed to visit Garden Songzanglin Monastery. Visit a Tibetian village and a tibetan family, the local market and old town of Zhongdian.

Day 5:

Zhongdian - Kunming
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Airport for flight to Kunming. Visit the flower and bird market (the bird and flower market is part of a series of streets and markets in central Kunming where an attempt has been made to preserve some of the typical architecture of the region.Traditional wooden houses with grass growing from their roofs line the streets where a variety of products are sold, including of course a small alley devoted to flowers and cage birds).
After lunch at local chinese restaurant, take a city tour. then transfer to airport for your return flight.
