If you've seen the Lord of the rings film trilogy, you'll have some idea of what to expect Queentown's stunning mountains were cast a revendell, home of the Elves and its forest part of Middle Earth.
North island provides plenty of amazing sinhts: Rotorua with its spounting geysers and bubbling mud pools; Waitomo caves lit by glowworms and Rainbow Springs nature park with its very own living dinosaur!
Not to be outdone, the Sount Island has its own spectacular sights: Fox Glacier and a slow moving river of ice, Mount Cook National Park with 15 magnificent peaks and Lakes Pukati and Tekapo. Kids can go panning for gold
And don't forget the food: lamb, steak rayfish, mussels, cheese, butter and ice cream. Yummy!

Day 1:

Auckland
Transfer to accommodation.
Afternoon free to explore and to visit the Sky Tower – a vertical joy ride 328 metres to the observation deck where Auckland spreads out below you. (If you’re brave enough to stand on the special glass floor, Auckland is literally below your feet!)

Day 2:

|
Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua
After breakfast, board coach for tour of Rotorua via Waitomo Caves, a boat-ride through the Glowworm Grotto, illuminated with tiny lights from glow worms suspended from the ceiling.
In the evening, feast on a Maori Hangi dinner and enjoy a concert ‘Mai Ora’ at Tamaki Village. Overnight at Rotorua.

Day 3:

Rotorua
After breakfast, explore Maori culture and visit spouting geysers, bubbling muyd pools and steaming cliffs. Then it’s on to Rainbow Springs to see live Kiwis, feed large Rainbow trout, walk through native New Zealand bush, and come face to face with Tuatara, a living dinosaur!
Afterwards, enjoy a stage show at Agrodome featuring sheep shearing and dog trials. Followed by a guided farm tour before takinga Skyline Gondola up Mount Ngongothha.

Day 4:

Rotorua – Auckland
Breakfast followed by scenic coach trip back to Auckland. The ride takes in the Waikato River past Lake Karapiro and the town of Cambridge to the dairy center of Hamilton, then on to Ngaruewahia, home of the Maori Royal Family and finally to Auckland.

Depart Auckland
Cooked breakfast is served at your hotel. Visit Kelly Tarlton Antarctic Encounter & Underwater World before transferring to the airport and home.
