Day 2: Following a hearty breakfast at the hotel your tour continues with a visit to Mae Sai, Thailand
’s northernmost town, located on the border with Burma. This bustling little trading post is a fascinating place to investigate and is littered with markets and shops selling all manner of local crafts and gifts. From the higher points of the town you can look down on the mighty Mekong and see the confluence of three countries – Thailand, Burma and Laos.
The day also includes visits to Akha and Yao
hilltribe villages where you can see for yourselves how these fascinating people live, and after lunch there’s a trip to the beautiful temple at Chedi Luang and a nearby museum.

Day 3:
The final day is yours to spend as you please, but do try to get up early for the chance to see the sun rise over the Mekong. This is surely a sight you will never forget and a fitting souvenir of your visit to the magical Golden Triangle.
Your tour ends with the return journey by coach to the airport for your onward or return flight.
