Ref.         :              Letter from Thai Airways International Public Company Limited No. Gor Bor. 08/116 dated 27 June 2008

                   Reference is made to Thai Airways International Public Company Limited’s letter regarding Clarification of the Change of Authority for the President. The Company would like to make additional clarification as follow:

                    On 27 June 2008 at 16.00 hour, the Board of Directors of the Company has held a meeting no. 12/2008 to consider that the Company is facing fuel price and country economic crisis. Therefore, to avoid destruction to the Company, the Board of Directors Meeting has reconsidered its resolution which was passed at the Meeting No. 11/2008 on 26 June 2008. After a consultation aiming to solve the problems, the Board of Directors has agreed that, cooperation among employee, management and members of the Board of Directors is crucial to overcome the crisis.

                   The Board of Directors Meeting has passed a resolution to retain Flg. Off. Apinan Sumanaseni in his duty as the President with close monitoring by the Board of Directors. Thus, a Management Bulletin shall be issued to cancel the Management Bulletin no. 138/2008 and no. 139/2008.

Subject   :              Clarification of the Change of Authority for the President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited

                   The Stock Exchange of Thailand

Reference is made to resolutions of the Board of Directors Meeting of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, held on 26 June 2008, and the Company has issued a Management Bulletin No. 138/2008 following the aforementioned resolution to appoint Flg. Off. Norahuch Ployyai, Executive Vice President to Office of the President, to act as the President by granting the Company’s management authority to Flg. Off. Norahuch Ployyai except duties concerning general protocol shall remained in the authority of Flg. Off. Apinan Sumanaseni effective from 27 June 2008 onward.

The aforementioned Management Bulletin has caused confusion to employee which would impair the Company’s operations and management at adverse conditions. Thus, the Company has suspended the Management Bulletin No. 138/2008 from now onward and the Company will call for a Board Meeting to resolve the situations.
