News clarification

Reference is made to news reports that Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (“the Company”) anticipated that at the end of year 2005, the Company will earn an operating revenue of 7,000 million baht due to increased profitability from passenger traffic and fuel surcharge during August 2005 that would be reported to the Stock Exchange of Thailand today (15 September 2005).  The Company clarifies that the news reported was based on anticipation resulting from the increased profitability from passenger traffic in August 2005.  The Company will announce its financial results for fiscal year 2005 (October 2004 – September 2005) after the audit is completed by the Office of the Auditor General of Thailand which audits the Company by the end of November 2005.
