The Change of Authority for the President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited and 3rd Quarter Financial Results
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (“the Company”) held the Board Meeting No. 10/2005 on August 10, 2005, at the Conference Room, Building No. 5, 26th floor, Head Office, No. 89 Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Khwaeng Jompol, Khet Chatuchak, Bangkok Metropolis. Details of the resolutions are as follows:
1.Due to the fuel crisis, and in order to operate the Company efficiently, the Board of Directors approved the Company’s regulation for administrative issue (No.3), granting the Company’s Management Authority to Mr. Somchainuk Engtrakul, Member of THAI’s Board of Directors, as of August 11, 2005. Mr. Kanok Abhiradee remains in his position as THAI’s President, but without management authority.
2.The report on the third quarter financial results is under examination and awaits approval from the Office of the Auditor General of Thailand which will be submitted to the Stock Exchange of Thailand by August 15, 2005.
3.The Company will hold a press conference today (August 11, 2005) at THAI’s Head Office.
