The revenues from the sale of goods and the rendering of services amounted to Baht 77,577 million, an increase of Baht 4,323 million or 5.9%. The major cause is due to the increase in transportation revenues amount of Baht 74,165 million, an increase of Baht 4,262 million or 6.1% from the same period last year resulting from adding new destinations, expanding capacities, and increasing its flight frequencies on international routes. As a result, the cabin factor increased from 72.4% to 73.6% in this periods. While selling and administrative expenses increase of Baht 1,884 million or 3.2% arising from expanding productivity. As a result, the Company and its subsidiaries have a profit from the sale of goods and the rendering of service amount of Baht 16,191 million, an increase of Baht 2,439 million or 17.7% from last year. However, the Company and its subsidiaries occur a loss on foreign currency exchange amount of Baht 751 million in the six - month periods of current fiscal year as compared to a gain on foreign currency exchange amount of Baht 553 million at the same period last year.
